Admission Rules

ADMISSION GUIDELINE


1.         TFS follows the standardized admission procedure as recommended for by J & K board of education and as per standards and procedures set forth by state and central governments from time to time.


2.         Admission for Std LKG to VII can be obtained only if there is a vacancy in the particular class. All applications for admission must be submitted before the beginning of the fresh academic session usually by the 1st of April. Decision for the admission for the current academic session will be taken in the preceding year. No advance registrations will be accepted.

 

3.         Previous School Records, Merit Certificates, Birth Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Certificates of Special Achievements and other Credentials as required by the school must be presented at the time of registration. However, filling a pre-admission form does not guarantee an admission. Admission will be granted only if there is a vacancy in that particular class at the time of admission.


CODE OF CONDUCT


1.         It is compulsory for all students to attend the General Assembly in the morning at 08.00 a.m. Students should arrive at school before the 1st bell rings. Students arriving habitually late will be sent home.


2.         Late comers must bring an application from their parents/guardians otherwise they will be sent home. No child shall leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal or Teacher in-charge and a gate-pass.


3.         Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch, spoil the desks or chairs or damage any school furniture, write or draw any thing on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Students who are negligent will be charged for the damage.


4.         Students are not allowed to bully or intimidate other students, staff or teachers. In case of any problem, they are encouraged to contact the Principal for the redressed of complaints, if any.


5.         No parents are allowed in the class for celebrating Birthday parties.


6.         Students suffering from any infectious disease must complete the quarantine period before re-joining the school. This should be indicated on the medical certificate duly signed by a competent doctor.


7.         All students shall bring the school diary to school every day. Parents are expected to check the diary daily and sign wherever required.


8.         No valuable articles and gold jewellery to be worn by the children. School is not responsible for goods, money or jewellery lost.

 

9.         Boys must have a short haircut always. Long hair will not be permitted in school.

 

10.        It is compulsory for all students to be in proper school uniform. Students who are not in proper School Uniform will be sent home. Parents is requested to send students in perfect uniform always.


11.        The ward of those parents, who avoid meeting the authorities, when advised to do so, may not be allowed to attend the classes.


12.        Our school is a polybag-free zone. All parents are requested not to send or bring any articles like Tiffin, Stationery, Craft Articles etc. to school in polybags.


13.        Parents / Guardians of such students who do not avail school transport should report at the school’s gate 10 minutes before the school gets over to collect their wards.


14.        Parents should not argue with the teachers/ other students or the conductor / driver present in the conveyance. If there is any problem, a written complaint to the Principal should be given.
